Who would've thought this was a big part of business?
A good mindset paired with skill and knowledge creates a general contractor that can’t be shaken!
Although some obstacles may be more physical, the six inches between your ears may be what's inhibiting you from taking your business to the next level.
Your ATTITUDE determines your ALTITUDE!
1. Stop blaming others and take accountability for the issue
If you own the problem, you own the solution! When we "own" a problem, it means we acknowledge that it exists and recognize our role in its creation or manifestation. Instead of blaming others or external circumstances, taking ownership means accepting that we have a part to play in finding a solution. By doing so, we shift from a passive mindset to an active and empowered one.
2. Do a self-awareness check.
.Being aware of what we are doing to other people involves cultivating empathy and understanding. It requires us to step outside of our own perspective and recognize that our actions can have a profound influence on the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of others. By being mindful of this impact, we can make conscious choices to treat others with kindness, respect, and compassion.
This awareness also extends to how our behavior aligns with our values and the kind of person we strive to be. It prompts us to reflect on whether our actions are in line with our principles and whether they contribute to a positive and supportive environment for others. It reminds us to consider if we are behaving in ways that promote fairness, equality, and inclusivity.
3. Figure out where you want to be in 3-5 years
Is what you're doing now going to get you where you want to be?
Considering whether what we're doing now will get us where we want to be necessitates a sense of self-awareness. It requires us to have a clear understanding of our goals, dreams, and ambitions. By having a vision of our desired destination, we can evaluate whether our current actions are in harmony with that vision or if they might be leading us astray.
4. Ask yourself, do you love what you do?
Even if you manage to accomplish every single one of your goals, true fulfillment, and contentment may still elude you if you do not have a genuine love and passion for the work you engage in. Simply attaining external markers of success cannot compensate for the absence of intrinsic motivation and enjoyment derived from the activities themselves. It is the deep-seated adoration and enthusiasm for what you do that truly nourishes your sense of purpose and satisfaction.
